Design and NC Machining of Injection Mould for Electric Rice Cooker Based on CAX

Abstract：Aiming at the difficult problem of manufacturing injection mould for plastic parts of rice cooker shell, the CAE analysis was used to determine the casting scheme of "banana" double gate in the mould cavity, and the main parting line of the mould cavity which can simplify the setting of the demoulding mechanism was reasonably selected. According to the requirements of 7 core-pulling mechanisms on one side of the fixed mould, 6 core-pulling mechanisms on the other side of the moving mould, and the requirement of using edge pushing plate to eject for the complete demoulding and automatic demoulding gate for the plastic parts, a pseudo-three-plate non-standard mould base with structure of three-plate three-time opening mould was selected to realize the automatic demoulding of the plastic parts and automatic excision of and runner scrap. Aiming at the difficult problem of forming parts processing, the processing technology route and NC programming tool path of main forming parts were given. In the process of die and mould manufacturing, the comprehensive use of CAX digital technology and the penetration of CAD/CAE/CAM into the whole process of die and mould processing are conducive to improving the accuracy of die and mould manufacturing, improving production efficiency and economic benefits.
