Influence Factors of Scratch Resistance of Mineral Powders Filled Polypropylene

摘要:通过熔融共混制备了矿粉填充聚丙烯(PP)复合材料,探究了矿粉种类、不同韧性基体树脂和润滑剂对填充PP耐刮擦性能的影响。结果表明,矿粉填充PP的耐刮擦性低于纯PP;选取高硬度(如硅灰石)、小粒径、与树脂作用力较大的矿粉可获得较优的耐刮擦性能,但粒径过小材料耐刮擦性能反而下降;在一定范围内提高基体树脂的韧性(如加入质量分数8%的线型低密度聚乙烯)可使滑石粉填充PP的耐刮擦性能得到一定改善;添加质量分数为0.5%芥酸酰胺或5%的硅酮母粒润滑剂可使滑石粉填充PP的明暗度差值(ΔL)从3.56下降到1.1左右,继续增加润滑剂含量复合材料耐刮擦性提升不明显。 
Abstract:Mineral powders filled polypropylene composites were prepared by melt blending, the influences of mineral powder kinds, matrix resin with different toughness and lubricants on the scratch resistance of the composites were analyzed. The results show that, the scratch resistances of the composites are less than that of pure polypropylene. A better scratch resistance can be obtained by adding mineral powder having higher hardness (such as wollastonite), smaller size and better bonding with resin. It's worth noting that the scratch resistance decreases if the size of powder is too small. The scratch resistance of talcum powder filled polypropylene is improved to a certain extent through improving the toughness of matrix resin (such as adding 8wt% linear low density polyethylene) within certain range. A decent scratch resistance (ΔL reduces from 3.5 to about 1.1) of talcum powder filled polypropylene can be achieved readily by adding lubricant as 0.5wt% erucamide or 5wt% silicone, but the improvement of scratch resistance is not obvious by adding these two kind of lubricants constantly.
