Injection Mould Design with Double Hole Internal Thread Core Demoulding Mechanism Driven by Single Rack

Abstract：A two-plate injection mould with two cavity was designed for injection molding of atomizer joint plastic part. In view of the need for synchronous thread demoulding of the inner holes of two plastic parts on the same side in a two cavity mould, a double hole internal thread core demoulding mechanism driven by single rack was designed for the synchronous demoulding of the two threaded holes. In the mechanism, the driving rack is fixed on the fixed mould plate, while the mechanism for demoulding the inner hole thread is fixed on the moving mould plate. When the mould is opened and moved, under the driving of the rack, the demoulding mechanism on the moving mould can drive the thread cores of the two plastic parts to rotate through the intermediate transmission gear, and the two thread cores are respectively driven by the thread pair of the thread guide sleeve for realizing the demoulding of the inner hole and the inner thread feature on the inner hole of the plastic part. By using the mechanism for demoulding, the mould structure can be simplified, the mould structure size is relatively small, and no external power is needed to drive, reducing the manufacturing cost of the mould and solving the problems of low efficiency of thread demoulding and easy deformation of internal thread demoulding in the prior technology.
