低收缩、低线性膨胀系数聚丙烯材料研究

摘要:针对乘用车的轻量化、以塑代钢的需求进行聚丙烯(PP)研究,以满足主机厂技术要求。先后分别从不同种类填料、不同填料含量、不同种类PP、不同黏度增韧剂、不同增韧剂含量进行系统研究。结果表明,不同种类的填料对材料的收缩率和线性膨胀系数(CLTE)影响差异比较大,其中高径厚比的滑石粉Talc-3降低收缩率比滑石粉Talc-1,Talc-2明显,而硅灰石和碱式硫酸镁晶须对收缩率和CLTE的影响比滑石粉大。不同熔体流动速率的PP对复合材料的收缩率和CLTE影响不同,均聚PP的CLTE普遍比嵌段共聚PP低很多。最终通过使用PP-1,PP-2,POE-3,Talc-3原材料复配且Talc-3含量在35%时开发出的PP复合材料在外观和性能上满足客户要求,收缩率低至2‰,CLTE低至3×10-5 1/K以下,与金属铝(2.3×10-5 1/K)的水平相当,且质量比铝轻50%以上。另外,从扫描电子显微镜照片可以看出,不同黏度增韧剂在复合材料中的分散性是不同的,增韧剂黏度越低其分散性越好。开发的PP复合材料收缩率低、CLTE低,对于汽车轻量化有着重要的意义。 
Abstract:Focusing on the lightweight and demand for plastic-made steel for passenger cars, polypropylene (PP) was studied to meet the technical requirements of the original equipment manufacturer. Systematic research has been carried out from different types of fillers, different filler contents, different types of polypropylene, different viscosity toughening agents and different toughening agents. The results show that the effects of different fillers on the shrinkage and coefficient of linear expansion (CLTE) are different. Talc-3 with high aspect ratio reduces the shrinkage more obviously than Talc-1 and Talc-2 with high aspect ratio, while wollastonite and whisker have more effects on the shrinkage and CLTE than talc. PP with different melt flow rate has different effects on the shrinkage and CLTE of PP composite. The CLTE of homopolymer PP is generally much lower than that of block copolymerized PP. Finally, the composite material by using PP-1, PP-2, POE-3, Talc-3 raw materials and the Talc-3 content at 35% meets customer requirements in appearance and performance, the shrinkage rate is as low as 2‰, the CLTE as low as 3×10-51/K is equivalent to the level of metal aluminum (2.3×10-51/K), and the weight is more than 50% lighter than aluminum. In addition, it can be seen from scanning electron microscope photos, the dispersion of toughening agents with different viscosity in the composite material is different, the lower the viscosity of the toughening agents the better the dispersion. The polypropylene composite material developed has low shrinkage and low CLTE, which is of great significance for automobile lightweight.
