Design of Injection Mold with Rotating Demoulding Mechanism for Tee Joint of Water Supply and Drainage Pipe

Abstract：A pair of side gate two plate injection mold was designed for automatic injection molding of polyvinyl chloride water supply and drainage pipe tee joint plastic parts. Mold cavity layout is one mold with two cavity. The mold was opened once and ejected once. In the single cavity of the mold, three demoulding mechanisms were designed to realize the automatic demoulding of the inner wall of the tee joint by step demoulding. The first is the slide mechanism driven by angle pin, the second is the slider mechanism driven by hydro-cylinder, and the third is the composite mechanism of linear core pulling and circular arc rotating core pulling. The actions of the three mechanisms are realized by opening the mold and driving sequence of the hydro-cylinder. The characteristics of the composite mechanism of linear core pulling and circular arc rotating core pulling are as follows: first, with the help of mold opening power, the angle pin slider on the C3 slider'seat is driven by the mold opening power, and the linear core pulling is finished, and then the C3 slider'seat is driven by a hydro-cylinder to drive the arc rotating core pulling mechanism to implement the rotary core pulling.
