Design of Injection Mould and Core-pulling Mechanism of 180º Bend Pipe

Abstract：A two-plate injection mould with one mould and one cavity and a 180º bend pipe core-pulling mechanism was designed. In the mould, aiming at the problem of demoulding the inner wall of 180° bend pipe plastic part, the bend pipe core of the inner wall of the 180º bend pipe was divided into two groups, and each group was equipped with three short arc-shaped forming blocks. The two groups of arc-shaped forming blocks were drawn out from both ends of the 180º bend pipe during core pulling, each group of three forming blocks were drawn out from each end, the two groups of forming blocks were drawn out simultaneously, and the three forming blocks in the same group were drawn out in three times in sequence, the driving force for the core pulling of the three forming blocks in a single group was provided by a deformable steel cable. When the mould was opened and the core pulling action began, the three sliders of the core-pulling mechanism were driven by the hydraulic-cylinder, and the two groups of short arc-shaped forming blocks in the inner wall of the bend pipe and the two straight pipe cores at both ends of the bend pipe were drawn out by the three sliders in three steps. In the first step, the core pulling of straight pipe cores at both ends of the bend pipe was realized by the first slider; in the second step, each groups of three arc-shaped forming blocks were drawn out in sequence from the two pre-bent deformed steel cables on the second slider; in the third step, the second and third sliders were drove by the first slider to continue core pulling together, and all inner wall forming parts were removed from the inner wall of 180° bend pipe, which realized the complete demoulding of 180° bend pipe.
